W centrum znajduje się Chrystus, który ubrany w purpurową (a więc w kolorze cesarskim) dalmatykę służy uczniowi – bo eucharystia właśnie realizuje się w służbie. W tle widzimy Judasza, który wchodzi w noc i sam staje się jej częścią – to noc, która symbolizuje grzech. Judasz świadomie odrzuca możliwość bycia z Chrystusem w ostatnich chwilach Jego ziemskiej misji i wybiera ciemność.

In the center there is Christ, who is dressed in purple (and therefore in the imperial color) robe and serves the disciple – because the Eucharist is only realized in the service. In the background, we see Judas entering the night and becoming part of it – it’s the night that symbolizes sin. Judas deliberately rejects the possibility of being with Christ in the last moments of His earthly mission and chooses darkness.
